Life Coach - Life Coaching
We all need one. Change can be exciting. There is so much that happens in this process.
Life Coaching - What It Is, and What It Isn't
Being a Life Coach is about helping people achieve the highest level of their fulfillment, happiness or success. It's about getting a life, not just a career. It's about making an impact as a human being. Even success can bring a lot of soul searching. It's about setting priorities.
Coaches have been grooming executives in management skills for a long time; but now coaches are troubleshooting situations like helping a person handle personality and power clashes at work. It's a new world, and a Life Coach will help you discover your personal vision, purpose, and values in every aspect of your life. A life coach can bring more freedom, creativity, self-acceptance, joy and prosperity.
During the coaching process one is able to clarify what one wants and create a design and plan to achieve it. Then there is emphasis on implementing a plan. You can become the center of your life. A life coach will assist one in establishing empowering traits that will keep an individual on track. "Being" is that quality that never changes in a person. It is the essence of you. This is the energy in you that never changes, and all the inner wisdom needed is there. This is the part of you that unleashes power and vision. "Becoming" is the part of you that does and can change, and should change as the world around one becomes different over time. You honor your internal values as you change.
A Life Coach focusses on what one wants -- that which lights you from within. It is entirely possible to love that which one does for work, and be paid handsomely for these endeavors. One can create choices to achieve a healthy and satisfying life and establish steps to make the life plan work in the most satisfying manner. The life coaching process will show how, with ease, to track market trends and move into new markets in the workplace. It will enhance family, social, career, and health and fitness goals.
We are nearing the point where we may add as much average life expectancy every year as former generations added in an entire century. Longevity has increased during this century more dramatically than at any other time in recorded human history. What does this mean for you -- your personal life and your career life? Life expectancy today in the United States is 29 years longer than it was in 1900. And, these years have been added to middle age, not old age.
How does one decide what one wants to do with this time? What does one want to have and to offer in this world?
It is important to target your future and decide what you want. Change is frightening to people who lack resilience, but those who try it usually find they land on their feet. One achieves balance, confidence and personal strength. But the concept of "becoming" will require that the life plan be constantly reviewed and upgraded. How to create support for the process, though, is a part of the coaching plan, and guidance and support are integral parts of the goals of a Life Coach.
The Life Coaching process may focus on either personal or professional growth -- or both. Sometimes it is easy to think of a Life Coach as an aide to repackaging oneself.
Do you need a Life Coach? Are you looking for that thing that lights you from within? Perhaps Life Coaching is the way to go. The right Life Coach can be a positive step for you. I can help. There are so many areas we can address. The program will be especially for you.
